Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the many cannabinoids found in marijuana and hemp. CBD and THC are of the two most abudant and most well known in marijuana. IN 2018, hemp farming was made legal in the United States, and CBD is legal on the federal level if it conatains less than 0.3 percent THC although some state laws vary. Since then, the CBD market has exploded and it can be found in gas stations and convenient stores as well as online in the form of gummies and oil. CBD is not regulated, so most of the time when buying CBD, you are not actaully getting what you paid for.
So far, CBD has been gona through clinical trials for treating epilepsy disorders such as LGS, and will continue to go through trials to made regualated medicine to treat things such as anxiety, parkinsons, and inflammation
